I own and manage several apartment buildings in Los Angeles for the last twenty years and know what it takes to efficiently manage properties. I had to terminate another management company just prior to leaving for a three week trip out of the country while there were tenants ready to sign the lease. Being an out of town owner, the timing could not have been worse. I contacted a number of property management companies but was not quite satisfied for one reason or another. When I talked to Matt of Five Star Real Estate & Property Management without ever having a face to face meeting, I was impressed. Matt got to work as soon as we finalized the contract. He responded promptly to all my emails and kept me posted on the progress. This firm is well organized and went as far as taking photos of the entire inventory for this furnished unit. They got the lease signed and took care of all of the details while I was out of the country. I am quite satisfied with their performance since they took over a couple of months ago. It’s definitely a rewarding and positive experience as an out of state owner.
